What Ernest does
Ernest is an AI support agent for your store. Ernest answers the questions that your customers ask.
Ernest reads the pages of your store. Then Ernest answers questions in the chat widget on your store. Ernest uses only your own content for the answers.
The three functions
Ernest does three things:
- Ernest answers questions about orders, deliveries, returns and products.
- Ernest does tasks in your store. Ernest can cancel an order, start a return or make a refund. Your customer must agree first.
- Ernest shows you the questions that your store does not answer.
What Ernest does not do
Ernest does not write an answer that is not in your content. If Ernest cannot find the answer, Ernest tells the customer. Then Ernest sends the conversation to your team.
Ernest does not send an answer to a customer before you install the chat widget.
