Test Ernest before your customers see it

You can read the answers of Ernest before Ernest speaks to a customer. This is a simulation.

Simulation is available on the paid plans only.

The two types of test

You can do two types of test:

• a self-test, which uses questions from your knowledge sources
• a replay, which uses your past conversations from a file

Do a self-test

1. Click Simulation.
2. Click Run a self-test.

Ernest writes questions from your knowledge sources. Then Ernest answers them. Read each answer.

Replay your past conversations

You can export your past conversations from Gorgias, Zendesk, Intercom or your email. The file must be a CSV file.

1. Export your conversations as a CSV file.
2. Click Simulation.
3. Click Choose a CSV.
4. Select your file.

Ernest answers each question. Ernest shows the answer of your team next to the answer of Ernest. Compare the two answers.

After the test

If an answer is wrong, the content is wrong or the content is missing. Correct the page. Then add the page again as a knowledge source.
